Religious Education
Christian Formation starts the week of September 13th.
We will have a mandatory open house on Sunday, August 30th for parents to learn about some of this year’s changes. Due to our growing parish and small available space, we would appreciate you registering early to help us plan. St. Gerard’s offers weekly Christian Formation for K-12th grade, either through classroom instruction or a YDisciple youth group that mixes bible study and living out our faith with community.
Confirmation this year will be for 8th and 9th graders, as we slowly integrate into the Atlanta Archdiocese’s new Confirmation requirement.
K-5th grade classes are held from September to May on Sunday mornings from 10 - 10:45 am.
Confirmation and youth groups will be held on Sunday evenings from 6 - 8 pm.
Families must register with St. Gerard’s to participate in Christian Formation or sacramental preparation programs. Your child must attend formation the previous year before any Sacramental year.
