Lenten Fish Fries & Stations of the Cross
Join the Knights of Columbus for a delicious dinner of fried fish, hush puppies, and other sides, followed by Stations of the Cross! From March 7 to April 11, dinner is served on Fridays from 4:30-7pm. (No fish fry on Good Friday) $10 for adults, $4 for kids 12 and younger, $26 for family of 4+. Stations of the Cross will begin at 7pm in the church.
Recitation of the Rosary
We gather as a parish to recite the rosary every 5th Sunday of the month, led by the Knights of Columbus. Our next rosary will be the last weekend of March, 30 minutes before each weekend mass.
Saturday, March 29th at 4pm
Sunday, March 30th at 8:30 and 10:30am
Teen Zoo Event
Join Deacon Tim on a trip to the zoo! Open to grades 6-12. Meet in the PLC after 9am mass (around 10 am) on Sunday, March 30th.
Ladies Lenten Morning Reflection
On April 12th from 9:30-11:30am, join the women of the parish to discuss "Death on a Friday Afternoon" by Richard Neuhaus. We will reflect on how we can apply Jesus' seven last words from the Cross and enjoy morning goodies together. Please RSVP to Sheri at (423)402-1102.
New Ministry: Women's Spiritual Study Group at St. Gerard's!
St. Gerard's is excited to create a welcoming space for "youngish" women who are interested in coming together for a meaningful spiritual study. Our first meeting will be Monday, April 7th from 6-7:15pm. More information can be found here.
Movie Night!
Join us in the PLC on Wednesday April 16th at 6pm for the showing of 'Here' staring Tom Hanks and Robin Wright! Everyone is welcome to attend. Popcorn, nachos, and taco dip will be provided! Bring your own beverage of choice and any other snacks.
Father Michael Redden Memorial Golf Classic
Thursday, April 17th. 11am registration at the LaFayette Golf Course, 1pm shotgun start! Time is running out to sign up for the Fr. Michael Redden Memorial Gold Outing, sponsored by St. Gerard's Knights of Columbus! Get your teams together, Ladies and Gents! This will be a fun day with lunch provided, door prizes, and 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes. For more information call Tony DiMaiolo. Registration and Sponsorship deadline of April 2nd.
Easter Egg Hunt
Join us for a fun-filled Easter Egg Hunt following the 11 am Mass on Easter Sunday, April 20th! The hunt is open to children ages 0 to 12.
We are asking for donations of all kinds to make this event extra special! Items like stuffed animals, large chocolate bunnies, and other goodies are welcome. If you’d like to contribute something bigger, we’re also in need of bikes, trikes, scooters, or even a TV! Every donation, big or small, is greatly appreciated. (Please note, we do not need plastic eggs at this time.)
