Altar Servers
Servers assist the priest by taking responsibility for many of the details in the preparation of the altar and vessels for Mass and other special celebrations during the liturgical year. Serving is open to anyone who has received their first communion, adults included!

Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion (EMs)
Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion (EMs) are trusted with the important duty of assisting in the distribution of the Eucharist to the assembly who gather for worship at Mass. Candidates must be baptized, confirmed and practicing Catholics in this parish, at least sixteen years of age and in good standing with the Church. Training is provided.

Got a great smile, firm handshake, or a warm hug? Come greet people at the door, help them find a seat, take up the collection, get families involved by bringing up the gifts, and hand out the parish bulletins after mass.

The music at Mass and other parish celebrations helps draw the faithful closer to Christ in a reverent and prayerful way.
At St. Gerard’s, we are blessed to have both a Youth Choir and an Adult Choir.
