Handyperson Quick Response Team
We are assembling a "handyperson quick response team" (the HQRT). Team members will get occasional group texts with repair/upgrade items for the church campus; i.e. small paint jobs, carpentry jobs, etc. Any member of the HQRT can respond and take action. Anyone (male or female) who want to be members, contact Jim Tahler at [email protected] or 423-505-1648. Father promises plenary indulgences for any help, with possible sainthood (after Father becomes Pope, of course).

St. Gerard's is looking to expand the ministries available to our parish community by forming a Women's and/or Mothers' Group. Please prayerfully consider and if you feel called to lead, please speak with Father or Sheri Fava.

After many years of dedicated service to our church, Dale Osterling has stepped down from the Eucharistic Ministries. Leslie Erdman (423-667-7954) is the new leader. We are in need of more people to participate in Eucharistic Adoration on Monday-Fridays. This can be on a monthly basis if needed. If you can help, please call the office. THANK YOU, DALE, FOR BEING GOD’S HANDS AND FEET FOR SO MANY YEARS.

We are getting a new directory. Portraits will be taken November 13th and 14th. Everyone photographed gets a complimentary 8x10 portrait. Sign-ups must be done online at www.ucdir.com. Our church code is ga272. The church password is GA272member. (These are case sensitive.) Need help? Call the office for an appointment with scheduling assistance.

When a parish exceeds its goal, the benefits stay home:
• 100% of the funds collected over your parish goal (up to 125% of the goal) are returned to your parish "assessment-free."
• These funds can be used immediately for your parish’s specific ministries, building repairs, or operational needs.
• Anything over 125% is also returned to the parish and placed in a long- term endowment to secure your parish’s future.
