Lectio Divina & Women's Groups
St. Gerard's is looking to expand the ministries available to our parish community by forming a Women's and/or Mothers' Group and a weekly a Lectio Divina Group. Please prayerfully consider and if you feel called to lead one of these groups, please speak with Father or Sheri Fava. Religious Education Registration - August 23rd after 9 am Mass
If you have not already registered your child for Religious Education, please come to the PLC to fill out the paperwork. Classes start Sunday, Sept. 13th with an Open House for parents (and kids) on Sunday, August 30th. For more information or if you prefer to online, click here. Items need for new K-1st Grade Program
We are introducing Catechesis of the Good Shepherd in our K-1st grade. This is a Montessori method of having our children learn about God’s love and a reverence for our Faith. We are looking for the following items. They do not have to be new, but in good shape. Light tracing box, small rectangular child-sized wooden table, small kneeler, lamps, wooden book display stand, 8-10 inch statues of Good Shepherd, Madonna and Child and Holy Family (no plastic, please), a small bell, child-sized broom and dust pan, large oval area rug, XL wicker basket, Cruets (or small oil set), small water and land globe, pitcher, large shallow glass bowl, religious art cards, taper candles, and large scallop sea shell. |
